Բարձրացի'ր, Բարձրացո'ւր.When Reteos Berberian and the founders of Homenetmen gathered in Constantinople in 1918, they chose words that would outlast every displacement that followed. Rise and Raise, elevate yourself, and others with you. When the Massis chapter took the court in Los Angeles in 1979, that motto came with it. Older players mentored younger ones. Families lifted each other in the stands. The chapter rises every season because everyone in it does the raising. It still does.

For families across Los Angeles, Orange County, and Fresno, Homenetmen Massis Basketball wasn't just a league. It was where the diaspora gathered, where older players showed younger ones what rise means, where parents and grandparents raised the whole program with their presence, where your teammates became family across a generation. The chapter has always worked this way: everyone rising, everyone raising. The game gave the diaspora a place. Massis Shop is that place, extended.
